Liz hadn't had a very good start to life, but was finally getting good food and important stuff like that + started growing like a weed *and* knew 'her' name + responded to it!

every afternoon, i'd put Liz in the tub for a bath + to "go bathroom" and this worked super! til one nite when i lifted 'her' out of the tub and felt this *handful* of warm 'guts' in my hands!!!! *ACK* (can you say "Freaked Out"!?!?) i thought my baby girl was falling apart and prolapsing and on + on + on ...

NAH ... turns out Lisbeth is a *Male* and had decided to ummmm, show me his stuff ... eeeeewwww .... a nice handful of warm iguana hemipenes!!! ROTFLMAO ... (i tell ya, once you've seen 'em, you *know* why they keep 'em INside!!! *grin*)

anyway ... i think i started out to echo John's post about the name thing ~ you can't tell for sure until they're older and it's not a bad idea to pick a name that's unisex or one that's easily changed to a similar one of the opposite sex ...

since "Liz" knew that was her ... er, HIS ... name, i didn't wanna totally change it and so it became "iZ" ... (tho according to *him*, his Full Title is: "iZ, the Dreadful Dragon") ...

your best bet is to watch the femoral pores on the inside of the thighs ~ but it's not gonna be noticeable until the ig is about 10" svl (snout to vent length ~ nose to 'butt') ...

personally, i think "Fluffy" is a nice name ... *heheheheheh*
