"hardware cloth" won't work??? it's not really cloth, it's galvanized metal + soldered not twisted together (like chicken wire) and so is safe for iggy toes ... comes in sizes from 1/4" holes on up ... (my son + i used to make custom enclosures for our hamster colony ... don't ask! *grin*) ...
