Most nubila other than Neubila Neuibila A.K.A. Cuban Iguana's are Hybrid with the exception of Cornuta A.K.A. Rinos My adult Caymens 7Years old are 12lbs male 8lbs female .Cubans same age 10lbs male 7lbs female and from 3 to 3and 1/2 feet long .They make wonderfull pets .verry tame and almost bulletproof as far as Iguana's go. Hybrids can notbe shiped accrost state lines .But Cuban's and Rino can.If you want aCyclura Iguana Get one .Same as a green only better.
: Most of the cyclura available LEGALLY in the pet trade
: get pretty large. I am not talking about ones that have been
: stunted due to bad care though, of course these will
: never get to be as big as they should.
: A Blue Cayman or brown cayman female however will only get to
: be max size SVL 16",4-8 lbs. Be Careful though, these species are not
: supposed to be bought/sold/traded over state lines.
: The other problem is you will have to buy from a breeder
: that can *accurately* sex the animals, the only one I know
: who really knows what he is doing when it comes to this is
: David Blair. The males get to be 20 lbs so there is a big difference,
: you want to make sure you get a female. Another choice is the
: desert iguana, they do not get very big at all.
: Please see the website for my female blue cayman, keep in mind
: not all adult blue caymans look like this (are this bright in color):
