Most of the cyclura available LEGALLY in the pet trade
get pretty large. I am not talking about ones that have been
stunted due to bad care though, of course these will
never get to be as big as they should.
A Blue Cayman or brown cayman female however will only get to
be max size SVL 16",4-8 lbs. Be Careful though, these species are not
supposed to be bought/sold/traded over state lines.
The other problem is you will have to buy from a breeder
that can *accurately* sex the animals, the only one I know
who really knows what he is doing when it comes to this is
David Blair. The males get to be 20 lbs so there is a big difference,
you want to make sure you get a female. Another choice is the
desert iguana, they do not get very big at all.
