Whether or not you have to sneek the scaly ones into the hotel or not, remember to ALWAYS put them in a carrier (contain them) when you leave the room and place a towel or something over them. The vast majority of the public (this includes hotel/motel workers) fear reptiles of any kind. I'm sure if you left them loose in the room and a hotel employee entered the room and was frighten, you'd most likely be asked to leave.
