It may be more difficult to set up where a glass tank is involved but if you build a custom enclosure it can be fitted with small fans that would both assist in the control of temperature and at the same time draw fresh air in thereby creating a constant exchange. Mount the fan somewhere in the top area of the enclosure and make some form of ventilation at the bottom of the enclosure. That way air is exchanged throughout the enclosure.
