most sources i have found have said basically the same things about temperature gradients and uv and diet... and of course the humidity.
i guess i was kind of concerned because a while back we were trying to raise these baby jacksons (which are so frail), and we had them in a glass tank with live plants and we misted them bunches and had the right temps and everything and they both died... someone told me it might have to do with not enough ventilation... i don't know how true that is, but i do know that when one has baby animals, especially chameleons (which are always so delicate, even as adults), it's always a crap shoot, no matter how hard you try to keep them alive. so it kind of concerned me as i was thinking about the helmeted iguana. i'm all afraid to kill him. he's not a baby though, and is pretty well established. probably only 2 more inches to grow at most. he is an import though, which worries me too. i'm so torn! the little helmeted iguana seems like such a great guy.
