loose at the base of the tail. Sometimes several shed at once. That tells me that the rest are pretty much ready to shed, but it usually takes a period of a few days before all are ready to come loose. My guy is not even two yet, though, so this info may not help much since you have a fully grown female, right? Anyways....Good luck! J
