We have only had double D for almost 2 months. She has skin layers built up. She wasnt taken care of before the store we got her from. When they got her she had skin disease, Malnutrion, tail had to be amputated, had amonia and thermal burns so she dosent shed "normally" on all areas of her body. Right now she dosnt have a big enclosure, we will be moving at the end of summer and she will get an entire width and highth almost to the celing for her cage, of course it will come away from the wall quit a few feet to. Shes alot smaller than the "average" 2 to 3 year old iggy, shes last lenght only 17 1/2 inches. She also dosent have spikes they were all destroyed poor girl, She is starting to see some spikes popping up in some spots :o).
: The baths everyday and a tub in here cage should be fine . You do not have to rub or peel them . The only time this is needed is ehn there is a problem Ie build up on the tail or spikes . If your iguana has a gage with room and lots of stuff in it logs hides thingd to climb on the he will not need help with his skin .
