definitely do some more research before bringing an unfamiliar lizard home ~ and come on ~ we all know nothing is ever as simple as what pet stores would have us believe! ...
from what i've (briefly) read, they're tree-climbers and they're from WARM climates ... ok, right there says that an open bird cage sorta thing isn't gonna be enough for it ~ it won't be possible to keep the guy warm + humid enough to be healthy, let alone happy ... tho Helmeted Igs don't get anywhere near as big as Green Iguanas do, sounds like you're still going to need to have more than just any old wire cage for it ...
do alot more research before you decide ...
