They are very misleading to people and a lot of people think they give off the full spectrum UVB light, but really they are not much better than regular heat lamps. They are packaged to go with reptiles and look very official. When I first saw them years ago, I was excited, thinking they found a way to make the UVB tube lights into regular bulbs, but then I did more research.

This bulb is okay for the iguana's heat source but you really need to get the Zoomed Iguana light (comes in varying lengths).
