We chop and tear every day, but we keep all the fixin's in a large tupperware sealed container. Seems to stay fresh for a week in there. I don't see why you couldn't chop and tear greens and store them like this, but I don't know about juicy things like shredded squash. You might try gallon size baggies to keep greens in. I haven't tried any of this, but I think I'm gonna start....
