I don't know how famaliar you are with the green Iguana's anatomy, but they have something called a "Pariteal eye" this is what they use to thermoregulate. Any lizards that have this so called "third eye" move towards bright light in order to raise their body temp. My point is that bright light is the most important indicator of a warmer spot for Igs. So I would only use a visible spot light for Igs.
