First Vet appt tomorrow WHAT should I look for ? Another ?

I all ready know I need to take a fecal sample to test for parasites, he is going to recheck Double D's tail as its looking pretty bad. Possibly do blood work (had some done last month before we got him and everything checked out fine) What things SHOULD he do? I dont know so I want to know hes doing what should be done, He stats he is qualifed herb vet, that he has many lizzard clients. BUT I want to be sure he knows what he says he does. How do I do that? He has double D's vet records from the first time he saw him till the thursday before we got him. ANY and all advice would be GREATLY appreciated.
One more thing I have been questioning Double D's tail for a while now, its really hard and brown, but seemed last night after his bath he sheded a bit more and underneath the shed seemed to be a bit of green skin, When I have heard you talk about layers of shedding building up, what does that look like and what do you do for it? Of course ill ask the vet about it tomorrow to.
