Now heres a STUPID question. HOW do I increase humidity?
Not a stupid question at all! I mentioned in an earlier post that the first thing to do is to boost the humidity in the room that the enclosure is in. We run a cool mist whole house humidifier in the dining room that boosts the overall humidity in the house. Depending on the size and makeup of your enclosure, there are a few things you can do. You can get a airpump and airstone (the kind you use for an aquarium) and runin in a container of water. In a larger enclosure you can setup a small cool mist humidifier and make sure that it runs into the enclosure using some pvc. If you put it inside the enclosure, make sure that it can't be knocked over. You can also set up a misting system, they are sold anywhere that you can buy reptile supplies and that will promote humidity. Misting the enclosure with a spray bottle will also promote humidity.
So glad to hear that you guys are bonding! Hope the ideas help.
