Being in a somewhat similar situation I agree with everyone else.
Make sure you get x-rays. My vet didn't do anything until she had seen what was going on using an x-ray. Until then we didn't know my iguana had eggs inside her. I doubt the vet can make any educated choices without seeing an x-ray if it has to do with eggs.
Also if it is a broken egg inside plenty can be done if you get to a GOOD vet in time. If you tell us what the closet major city is, I almost gaurentee someone on this forum will be able to point you in the right direction for a good qualified vet near you. Good luck!
