Last night before bed, I decided to skim IGUANAS GUIDE FOR DUMMIES. I passed a section that described the daily diet for iguanas. It mentioned the use of frozen foods but only in small quantites and frequency due to the greens losing Vitamin B1 during freezing. Most iguana people who I talk with freeze the food or buy frozen food. Does anyone have any information that frozen foods are not good. Thiamine (Vit B1) deficiency can resemble MBD, so I just want to be safe. I buy frozen peas and carrots, chopped colalrd and mustard greens, and lima beans. Then I give fresh squash and yams. This is so darn confusing with so many different theories. Should I go out an buy powdered Thiamine or throw out the frozen food? Thanks
