Any new red colored food additions to his diet? like tomato, strawberries,...no? ok
Poop specimen needs to be DROPPED OFF to the vets just the colored part must be 24 hours or fresher Refrigerate in a ziplock baggie prior to drop off keep it fresh.
It could be any number of things causing blood in stool...like internal injury, foreign obstruction ingestion cutting inside,puncture (Xray needed!)swallowing ie a rock that scraped his cloacal opening cutting it, salmonella outbreak will cause blood in stool,endoparasites run amok will cause blood in stool...Until he sees a vet STOP the following "ok to give iguanas foods": PARSNIPS,cantaloupe, broccoli,parsley (you may not feed these but I don't know that!)foods like these potentiate blood thinning/contain furocoumarins, psoralens,iron loss resulting in anemia.
