How big is your Igg? It sounds like you have a good set up( depending on his size. How often do you let him out to free roam? Do you give him baths? This really triggers my girl to eat.Now about that diet, I think this could be the problem. Green leaf lettuce has next to no nutrition value, I think spinach is toxic, I don,t remember because I never feed it. if someone else could post that answer it would be great. Carrots and apples ( I think apple seeds are toxic too?) are not that great either. And the pellets are Ok once a week or so ( mine won't eat them)SOAKED IN WATER they can cause impaction otherwise. You need a new menu. Collard and mustard greens are the best veggies for your Igg. Dandilion greens ( fertilizer free) can be fed also. Shredded squash, Figs ( great for calcium) Should also be added. Fruit such as Oranges, bluberries, strawberries or raspberry should also be added for visual appeal. There are some great web sights with nutrition info ( if someone else could post a link :)I don't know them). Start searching the web, there is so much great info.
Did you tell your vet what you feed your Igg? Is he a experinced Igg vet? Somtimes they are very hard to find. Sorry this is so long, but I wanted to give you as much info as possible.Good luck, you are on the right track. Change his diet to one with more nutrition and he will be fine.
Keep us posted and if you have any more questions please ask.

Actulally I have a 4 year old iguana who has lost his appetite and who is getting skinny. I feed him Greenleaf lettuce, spinage, carrots, parcley, and apples. I've tried to introduce Zoo-med iguana pellets but he won't eat them. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. He has a 5'H by 4'W Cage with full spectrum lighting, a heat pad, waterfall and food! I took him to the vet and she said it was normal. I don't think so, he is getting very thinn and only eats a couple bites a day! He has great green color! How can I help him? All suggestions will be very helpfull
: Thanks guys
