Help: Iguana barely eating,losing weight

I have a 4 year old iguana who has lost his appetite and who is getting skinny. I feed him Greenleaf lettuce, spinage,carrots,parcley, and apples. I've tried to introduce Zoo-med iguana pellets but he won't eat them. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. He has a 5'H by 4'W Cage with full spectrum lighting, a heat pad, waterfall and food! I took him to the vet and she said it was normal. I don't think so, he is getting very thinn and only eats a couple bites a day! He has great green color! How can I help him? All suggestions will be very helpfull
