that this iguana probably came from irresponsible owners who let it go....I will say that the ig will probably survive just fine. They are (unfortunately) just so common down here...VERY common, and they seem to thrive in this humidity...even this time of yr--it's HOT!! I tried to take in one that apparently turned out to be a wild one a couple of months ago (a friend caught him thinking it was someones pet that escaped) and had to let him go just because he was so accustomed to being outside.
