click, click, click...... question

OK, I do not know what it is... but a few minutes ago... just after he was done eating.. and sitting on my shoulder (still is), he was making theses clicking noises... something wrong?? He's been shedding like a mad man all through the winter, and in the summer, and STIL is,,,, so it can't be health related. So what in the heck is it?!
