Front leg paralysis.

I have a 5yr old ig that seems to have front leg paralysis any information on this is appreciated. Iggy was diagnosed with mbd in January and with lots of care seemed to be well on his way to recovery. Yesterday though, he seemed to loose use of his front legs. After the initial 2 wk liquid calcium and juice force feedings I continued to give him a forced water/Reptocal mix every other day along with his food. He hasn't had too much of an appetite, but seems to be doing ok otherwise. It has been about 5 wks since his ordeal started. My vet is on vacation so I am hoping someone has some info for me. Anything else I can do? Is this a temporary condition? Thanks
