If I did that I would have some pretty upset iggys! IMHO it is cruel not to offer food every day as they have no exact way of letting you know when they are hungry. A better solution, if you are concerend about wasting food, is to offer smaller portions. If they eat it all, you can offer another small portion, if not then you know they are not hungry.
