You might be able to house an iglet in that tank for about a month or two, more or less. Before yuo know it... you'll have to build him/her a bigger enclosure.
What made you want an iguana?
What research have you done?
There are many erscues out there, and many are not iglets, so the tank won't do. Be prepared to build a VERY ;arge enclosure. I'm working on one that is 6.5' long, 6' high, and 2' wide (I'd make it wider, but it wouldn't fit through my doorway).
SO, all in all... Before you get an iguana, make sure you REALLY feel committed to owning and caring for one... You can put a Bearded Dragon in that tank, maybe thats what you'd be better off with? Try the Beardie Forum... and look up some beardie info and iguana info.... compare and contrast, then make your final decision. I am in no way inplying that a beardie is "oh so easy" to take care of, I'm saying that a beardie is a better beginner pet than an iguana... :)
Good luck with your selection!
