I agree with everything iZ's mom said about blaming yourself.....don't. I am so dreadfully sorry about this. You might want to keep him warm using something besides the "white" lights. I don't know if you use the special night lights or the ceramic ones but either way I'd switch to this to help with keeping the area "peaceful." If things are going well, I'd continue to keep him warm thru the night (probably warmer than normal night temp) and just be there for him talking to him so he'll know he isn't alone. If he'll let you hold him without stressing him, then I'd do it for a while anyway. Ours like me to hold them when they get scared anyway.

My family's thoughts and prayers are with your family tonight and thru the days and nights to come. I'm sure we are not alone in our efforts to send Merlin a miracle.
