i'd recommend a heating pad made for humans, turned on *Low* ... it makes me terribly nervous that anything manufactured specifically for igs/reptiles doesn't have any kind of thermostat or temperature control ... heating pads that are made for people have to meet guidelines and pass inspections, etc ... (yeah, i'm a neurotic worrier + i admit it ... )
really, if the air temp. in the enclosure is warm enough, you shouldn't need a heating pad, under-tank heater, etc ... (tho iZ has always had one on his bed-shelf for nite time snugglies ... *grin*) ...
Lisette ~ THROW THE HOT ROCK OUT NOW!!!! heating pads cost about $10 at the local drug store and are a zillion times safer! (sorry ... nagging, neurotic worrier take over the keyboard for a second there ... )
Bon.
