I was concerned about this very thing, and so while the vet was there at the petstore yesterday when I picked little "Petco" up, I asked her about it.
She said that lounging around with each other should be no problem, but that I should make sure they not be in the same tub of water together. (I'm assuming because if the Petco Ig pooped in the water it might spread some yickies to Habib?)

Anyway, she said that they can sleep together and even eat out of the same bowl, etc., because she's the one who has done his examinations for the last several months and she thinks he's pretty healthy (all things considered). She did say to have him come in sometime for a fecal sample test, which I plan on doing very soon.

Thanks for your concern, however! One can never be too careful!
