it may not be safe for Habib to be around "Petco" (temp name). Considering the store's treatment of him, he could possibly have infections or worms etc. and I wouldn't want to see him pass that to your Habib. Either way, I would definitely take a really fresh stool sample to your vet to check it out.

I bet they do look pretty sweet sleeping together though ;-) Can't wait to see a pic of Petco.

: It's not a great picture, but at least you can see my new little guy. He's chomping on a collard leaf in the photo.
: It took a full day, but Habib has finally accepted him to the point of napping with him. She laid her little head down on his, and they fell fast asleep. They're snoozing together again right now, in fact.
: It's been fun to watch the dynamics between the two. She likes to make sure he's in her sight at all times, and has been "patrolling" the house all day to make sure he's not acting up in any way. There's also been a bit of head bobbing...on both of their parts. She also "tasted" his tail once or twice, but so far, nothing too aggressive. We make sure we watch the two of them very closely, and never leave them unsupervised alone together.
: He finally ate more than just collard greens; he ate some squash, a few peas, and several blueberries. He had another bath--a long soak--but still no pooping. My goal is to potty train him like we did Habib. Hopefully, with a daily soak, he'll soon get the idea.
: We cut his toenails this evening, and he was SO calm and well behaved. He really is a sweet heart. I am so lucky to have him.

: Have a great week all of you!
: Diana, Habib, and ???
