I don't think there is much more you can do for your little guy, it really is a shame. At least you know that he didn't die because of too small of a cage or improper diet. I would be mad that the cat was actually able to get near the iguana, but hey, hind sight is always 20/20. You did all you could for Merlin. I'm really sorry...
