Thanks for the excellent response - haven't been getting very many lately.

There were folicles visible on the x-ray that was taken 1/19/2001. She had been showing behavior signs for nearly a month before that.
How long does it take the eggs to develop to the point of potential laying?

She has not expressed any interest in the nesting box I put in the cage. It is covered with a hole in it and filled 1/2 full with play sand. She has not really moved around her cage enough for the last two months to notice it. It has only been in there for about 4 weeks. There are just two spots she stays in, the waterfall and a ledge under a light. Do you think I need some heat in the sand. I have a heat rock that I am not using that I could bury in it.

She has eaten more in the last two days than she has in the previous 1-1/2 months. But her activity level has not increased much.

Let me also say to you and anybody else that may have seen my other posts. I am just asking questions to be prepared. I would rather have information and not need it than to need it and not be able to get it quickly.

Thanks,
SBowman
