Desert Iguana

I live in North Carolina an am looking for a young desert iguana. Area petstore lizard selections are limited and in poor shape (and completely lacking my desired pet). Anyone from the area have suggestions about a place to look, or does anyone know of internet suppliers that may be of help? I know they are not that common a pet, and may be in short supply.
