I agree with you on administering meds. I would not do so without a vet visit. I rely heavily on this site when it comes to advice on what an illness may be & what might need to happen - but in no way do I let this forum substitute as a vet. When any of my animals (I have 4 cats, 2 igs, 5 dogs & 1 horse) needs a vet, whether I am broke or busy - I see to it that they get the care they need from a medical professional. I advise all those "silent BB'ers" and "active BB'ers" to do the same.
Personally, when I found this forum - I jumped right on it & introduced myself. All the silent people should do the same. You get more advice when you are "known"
