Hi Everyone,
I've seen several requests on here for cage plans or
pictures. I don't have written plans, but here's a
picture of the cage I designed for our ig. He's about
a year old, over 2 ft total length (stl) and doing
very well. I've gotten WONDERFUL advice from this
board, so thanks everyone very much.
To make the cage, we took everything out of the closet,
took off the doors and built a big wood and plexiglass
addition. There are several pictures, the one below is
the finished product, but i'll put some links to the
others. I guess if anyone wants specific step by step
type directions I could write up a little something
to tell how we did it all. Ignats seems to love it!
The only thing left to put in it that I haven't done yet
is one of those self contained waterfalls that go in the
corner. Does anyone else have one of these? I've seen
it on the PetWarehouse website and a few others too,
looks like a good way to keep the humidity up and still
be halfway natural looking.
Iguanas are so great, we love ours!
