I have never heard of using it in a cage ? I also use mine in a 1 to 1 mix with water . I have never had a problem . I simply cover the iguana it does NOT hurt there eyes ( SEE BOTTOM )so this is not a problem . I have used this on EVERY iguana I have taken in for the past 4 years and have never had one problem . As for the cages I have all my rescue cages in one room and a fogger works GREAT for this just wipe up good afterwords .
