cats and igs

I just wanted to say that i only let my ig around the cats with close supervision. The cats are smart enough to figure out i am overprotective of miya. Though i would never leave them together unattended, especially with that wonderful long tail that they seem to be amazed by. I am trying to train Miya to stay out of the kitchen area while she is having her romp around the house. So far she is very stubborn and will bob her head at me when she gets to the linolium. So i stand in the kitchen and bob my head back at her and get her to leave that area and go back to the living room. Any tips on getting her to listen to me?LOL~
