One thing you may want to try is to leave her a card with your name and number on it so that people that come in there with questions have someone to call that knows what the heck they are talking about. I did that and just recently got a call and was able to help with someones questions. (Personally, I was shocked the pet store actually gave out my number! LOL)
Also, she may be willing to accept care-sheets to give out to people. Do you have any? Could you make some up on your computer? If not, I've got a good one I could copy and mail to you. Just send me your address via my email if you want it. Then, pay them another visit in a week or so and if you are still seeing that they are not making any improvements, I'd call the SPCA on them or at least threated to. That is so rediculous! If you email me the name of the pet store and where it's located, I'll pay them a visit as well. Maybe the more people complain, the more she'll listen. Keep me posted.
