Could you keep Al at your store? At one of our local herp shops they had a huge male that they let free roam (they set up a basking site on top of a row of built-in snake cages) and he quickly became the store mascot. His name was Zues and was probably just as big as that beautiful male Harry's Dad has, he was certainly larger than my Launch Pad. This was great for educating customers about iguanas, and the reality prospects of just how big they can get was a great way to curb iggy sales. Zues was also good for business because people heard about him so came in the store to see him. I don't know how your store is set up but perhaps letting him bask by the front windows where people can see him from outside will actually increase your sales on smaller herps and supplies and that's something that you can both benifit from.
