More news to make me cringe...

A fw posts down I was looking for possible answers for an ig that has black spots on its skin. I am thinking of adopting it & my sister is taking me to see it this Sunday. If I take "her" I will pick her up on the 10th - I will need to build her a cage. Would you all be able to email me some ideas or diagrams for a nice cage?
This is the latest news I got on this ig... and I cringed. I am scared to see it on Sunday. My sister talked to her today to let her know she is bringing me over to see it. And she said that when she was at her house she saw that now the ig is living in a rabbit cage (the ig is about 3 ft) in her unfinished, unheated basement. To make matters worse, the cage is split in half by a piece of plywood... on the other half lives a RABBIT!!!!
My sister told her "There is rabbit feces in w/ the iguana. You need to get that out before it eats that." The lady said "Oh it wont eat it. Oh look, it didnt eat the banana I gave it today. But it ate the lettuce." My sis qusetioned what she is feeding it... the answer... lettuce & an occassional banana!!! My sister told her that the ig should be in the house not the basement & the woman said that it "could survive in the basement better than a rabbit could."
OH MY GOD... does the word tropical ever come into her mind when she thinks of iguanas??? Ack! I can die.
My sister told me that she scoped out his living arrangements... he has no lights other than a household bulb. No UVB - none!
He has no real heat source other than a hot rock. Ugh.
Now I am not surprised to know it has black spots... it is probably burns or poor health from being malnourished that is causing it.
I am almost certain that I am going to rescue this iguana. I cant stand thinking that it even has to wait another 10 days while I finish the basment of our house. We are turning it into additional living quarters - so we will have room to bring this ig home with no problems.
I just need to build a cage... can everyone give me ideas? My baby Stone is still small enough to be in the 1st enclosure I made for him which is plexi glass & wood. But it was expensive & is hard to clean... (streaks!)... so ideas would be appreciated. I need to have this built in
a week from now... HELP! I have to save this ig. Oh & the woman said she cant lend me the cage for any time cause the rabbit lives in it too! ugh. Can you even think of that iguanas situation with out wanting to cry???
