Realizing your delima, let me first say that no one is attacking you personaly or making judgements as to what type of ig parent you are. The reality of it is, you are going to need to work with a vet because you are going to need antibiotics to fight the infection. That being the situation and you not having easy access to a vet, my intial thought it to have you go to the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians and find one that is atleast somewhat close to your area. Call them and explain your delima and see what, if any, assistance they can offer you.
While all the folks on iguana message boards are well meaning, to the best of my knowledge, none of us are vets so for the most part while we can often make care suggestions, in a situation like this the best thing we can do is to help you find a vet. I'm sure many of us wish there was something more we could do for you, I know I do.Please stay in touch and let us know how things work out. If I can think of any other possible solutions for you, I'll let you know.
