While I to belive in fighting the good fight We must all realize that you can't save every iguana . Sometimes NOT saving one can do more for the fight then saving it . Having fought this battle myself long and hard I have learned that sometimes the best thing to do is nothing . All of those that are new to this might not understand this but if you continue to care for iguanas I am sure you will reach the same conclusion . The fact is that iguanas are not wild caught anymore they are farmed there are what can be described as big fenced in yards with around a thousand iguanas in it when the workers see a pregnant female they put them in a separate pen with a dirt floor when the lay eggs they are thrown back in with the others and the eggs are put in trays and hatched . Please do not take these statements the wrong way I love iguanas and have spent more then half my life doing what I can . So please by all means continue to fight the good fight ! Try also to keep in mind what does more good for the fight at hand action and inaction both have there place and time . Sometimes inaction can do more then you might think .
