it's been like that for a year??? if so, then it has already healed (even tho it's not lined up properly) ... if it is already healed, then to correct it would mean some *major* surgery + would involve re-breaking the bone and setting it ... eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww ... seriously doubt that a *real* ig-vet would recommend it let alone attempt it ... BUT! i would definitely think a trip to a good vet AND x-rays are in order!

i'm pretty sure that it won't affect the organs as he grows ... they might be slightly displaced, but it'll happen so gradually that it shouldn't be a problem ...

*i* would worry about infection and would also recommend that the ig have blood work done to make sure he *is* healthy as he appears to be ... it's possible for an ig to have a low-grade bacterial infection and not show any symptoms of it until he is *Very* sick ....

iZ has had 2 broken bones ~ when he was smaller (3.5') he made a flying leap in his enclosure and broke a 'finger' ... healed ok but is limp, he can't use it ... a couple years later, (5') he somehow broke his tail ... must've been throwing a fit in his room while i was gone ... the tail healed great but since it was a fairly extensive injury, he was on Baytril for 2 wks to prevent infection ...

let us know what the vet says!
Bon.
