I agree! A pie full of "messies", urates and whipped cream could just be the thing we need to turn this situation around! (Funny mental image that was, of the manager and his face full of ahem, "pie".)

I'm going to post a general update and tell how things went today at Petco. I'll address the ideas of getting the newspaper involved, as well as the SPCA, like you mentioned.
Thanks for your post. It made me smile. Humor is good at this point!
