Do Blue Diamond iguanas exist?

Hi
A while ago I bought an iguana called a "Blue Diamond".
Some people say there is absolutely no such thing, and he is just a reg. green ig.
But another guy told me all they are is a different color morph,
created by dividing one group of igs by say, putting a river
through the middle of there territory, resulting in a gradual
change of one group.
?????????
This is what he said
I have no idea what is true,
so any theories are welcome!
