: I'll have to find the link again, but I read just last week that they were going to change the law on airlines and animal cargo. That they were looking at making the airlines more responsible for the care of the animals in flight. All shipping planes would have to have special cargo areas that are pressurized and heated for the animals. If this law in in effect or going to be, this will mean all of us will be paying dearly for transporting our reptiles in the future. Since we do not ship any of our rescue iguanas, I currently could not tell you directly if this law is currently in effect or not. I would suggest calling around and asking airlines if they're still shipping animals/reptiles.

: PS. Pack him up warmly.....it's really cold in flight.
Thanx Harry's Dad,
I'm working on the heating element. The only reason I am even getting rid of her is because I have 2, and am moving to a condo with not as much room as I have now. I cant stand seeing her live in a tank that really honestly is not big enough for her. She's not tame, and my other one is a male, so it's not making for a very happy two some. I am giving her to a rescue lady as well. I have had my male for 10 years, and her for about 8. So generally saying, once I take them, I keep them. I am going to miss her. If I could fly to Brazil or somewhere, I'd set her free. She'd have no problem taking care of herself. I am actually scared to death to ship her, like a worried mother. I'd never forgive myself if anything happened during the flight.
