I'll have to find the link again, but I read just last week that they were going to change the law on airlines and animal cargo. That they were looking at making the airlines more responsible for the care of the animals in flight. All shipping planes would have to have special cargo areas that are pressurized and heated for the animals. If this law in in effect or going to be, this will mean all of us will be paying dearly for transporting our reptiles in the future. Since we do not ship any of our rescue iguanas, I currently could not tell you directly if this law is currently in effect or not. I would suggest calling around and asking airlines if they're still shipping animals/reptiles.
