It's not uncommon for igs to lay their eggs out it the open like you're experiencing, so unless the eggs looked really malformed which might lead to binding I wouldn't be too concerned about it. You might want to give her some warm baths and gentle belly rubs to see if that will help her produce some more eggs as well. What are you doing with the eggs? mmm one more thought... What color is the urate and when was the last time she had a BM? Has she laid any eggs since you've noticed the color change?
