Thank you !! I worked briefly in a pet store and was less than impressed with the policies on reptile care , particularly iguanas!! Baby iguanas were expendable , a write off if they died !!!!! It disgusted me . we were suspose to push the sale of suppliments , but not open any to use them on store animals !! I opened them anyway and did what I could . When I came to the sad realization I could not change the care policies or lack of them and it made me ill to go to to work , I quit!! I am tying to open my own store !! A pet store that puts the focus on educating new owners ! And adopting animals in need . I will not EVER , even consider selling baby iguanas , or any reptile !! I plan to take in unwanted , abused animals . I won't get rich !!LOL !!! But I will be able to sleep at night and look at myself in the mirror !!!! Am I nuts ??? Maybe , but I want to try to make a difference and do something I love !! Please let me know your honest opinion !!
