There is a LOT of mis-information out there about iguana care. Be VERY careful about what you take as fact. The James Hatfield, Ultimate Iguana Owner's Manual, and Melissa Kaplan's, Iguanas for Dummies book, are tried and true. You can count on them for accurate information.
Disregard ANY book that says to feed your iguana animal protein, crickets, cheese, broccoli, etc. It is a sure-fire way to kill an iguana-albeit slowly.
As to the fat-tailed gecko, you ought to post a request on this board. It may be that someone here knows of someone who needs to place one, or possibly a breeder.
