AAAAARRGGHHHHH!
I put my hand in to take Tarzan out of his cage, and he flipped! I was going to clean his cage, an dwith the vaccum cleaner, and Lysol, he can't be in there so I took him out, but after he went completely buzerk in his cage, and I got him out, I noticed that eh lost his nail, and boy does it bleed! I put a styptic pencil on it. . . didn't work, So I decided to put him in a betadine bath, that slowed it down alittle, then I dripped like 2 drops of betadine on it, that stopped it.
He still has teh "quick" (sp?) on his toe, just no nail, does this pose a problem? Should I take him to the vet, or should I just keepo treating it with betadine, he's sitting on my shoulder righ tnow and seems to be fine. Does the exposed "quick" pose a hazard to infection? Is ther anything else I can do?
I just feel so guilty because if I just left him alone adn cleaned the cage tomorrow, this would've never happened.
PLEASE RESOND!
I need soe advice on this!
ANY UNPUT WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED!
-Lesya (VERY worried)
